Terms of use

Last updated 30 October 2026

These terms apply to the TeachEd website and to the TeachEd textbooks, which are provided by TeachEd Pty Ltd, ABN 93 703 264 037. By using them you agree to these terms.

Accounts

  • Each email address can have one account, and each account is for one person.
  • Only one signed-in session can exist at a time. Signing in on another device signs out the earlier one.
  • Keep your password private. Do not share your account or let anyone else use your login.
  • Teachers can register to read Chapter 1 free in the same way as students.

Subscriptions

  • An individual subscription costs A$110 (RRP) per textbook for the academic year, or the introductory offer price shown on the website while that offer runs, and is paid once, with no automatic renewal.
  • Access runs from the day you pay until 30 November of that year. If you buy in November or December, access runs until 30 November of the following year. We tell you the exact end date before you pay.
  • A school subscription gives one place for each student the school orders, at the price quoted to the school. Schools are invoiced on 30-day terms against a purchase order, and access is set up when the order is accepted.
  • Our refunds and cancellation policy explains refunds.

Content and copyright

The textbooks, including their text, diagrams, interactive models and suggested responses, belong to TeachEd Pty Ltd. A subscription lets the account holder read and use them for their own study or, for teachers, to teach their own classes. You must not copy, download in bulk, redistribute, resell or publish the content, or use automated tools to collect it.

Acceptable use

Do not try to get around access controls, interfere with the website or textbook, test their security without our written permission, or use them for anything unlawful.

Availability and changes

We work to keep the website and textbook available but cannot promise they will always be uninterrupted. We may update the content, for example to reflect new data or syllabus changes, and we may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version.

Your rights under Australian law

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or changes any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot be excluded. To the extent the law allows, our liability for anything else connected with the website or textbooks is limited to supplying the service again or refunding what you paid for it.
