Refunds and cancellation

Last updated 28 October 2026

Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. If a textbook has a major problem, such as content you cannot access that we cannot fix within a reasonable time, you are entitled to a refund.

Individual subscriptions

  • A subscription is one payment for the academic year. It does not renew automatically, so there is nothing to cancel.
  • We do not give refunds for a change of mind. Chapter 1 is free, so you can read the whole chapter, with its interactive models, live data and learning checks, before you decide to buy.
  • If you think you are entitled to a refund under the Australian Consumer Law, email admin@teached.com.au from the address on your account, with your receipt if you have it.
  • Refunds are paid back the way you paid us.

School subscriptions

  • If a student leaves, email us and we will cancel their access and pass the place to another student.
  • Extra places can be added at your school's price at any time.
  • Unused places stay available until 30 November.

When access ends

Access ends on 30 November of the academic year paid for, or 30 November of the following year for purchases made in November or December.
